If you're using Win 7, it's a bit hidden. Apparently they hid it to help thwart piracy... it's still there, just not as obvious now: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/39532/ho ... ord-audio/

It should now show up in Audacity as "stereo mix" or what have you, and record.

What sound card are you using? Some don't support this any more for whatever reason. If it's Mac, I have known several people who just skip this and go straight to using Audio Hijack or Wiretap:

http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/wiretap/

One or both of them will allow you to record a few minutes in demo mode, should work out ok as a temporary solution.

I just run a 1/8inch cable from my mic input to the audio out on my computer anytime I need to do some recording. Works pretty well
