If an unknown Prodigy released 'Prodigy Experience' today, do you think they'd get slated for their mixdowns?

i was thinking this the other day when i was mixing a chemical brothers tune- this one


the mixdown is pretty poor but tbh its got an energy to it that a lot of tunes dont have, though i think a part of the reason i like it is is it has a kind of retro feel to it, and being old i dont judge it in the same way as i would if it were a new release, allowing for the gear they had then etc.
