Youtube Channel For The DSF Production Community (NEED TUTS)

I want to start a youtube channel consisting of tutorials and tracks of the DSF Production Community, maybe even interviews if we get that far. I know that using the Dubstep Forum name will not be permitted by Dubway, so I need to ask you guys to come up with a name. The channel will not be dedicated to Dubstep, it will be all inclusive of anything having to do with Electronic Music. Just keep that in mind when coming up with a name. I'm thinking EDMProductions or something, idk.

Once we have a name, the next thing I'm asking is who will contribute? I need to know because I plan to PM the Username and Password to the people who are going to contribute so they can just upload whenever they want. We also need some graphics like a logo and a youtube layout, so if anyone wants to get on that go ahead.

Once we have those two things under wraps, we'll just go from there. I think this will be a great thing for all of us as we can teach eachother, and we can upload our tracks on it and get exposure. Or whatever.

PROGRESS:

1. We've decided on the name "Sub Culture".

2. I've made a list of contributors and written down what they want to contribute. Seeing that I have enough contributors to get the channel started, I'm moving onto the next step.

3. We have decided on a logo and are finishing up the format for track upload videos.

4. I've made a Tracks Submission thread and have gotten tons of submissions.

Im more than down to contribute both tutorials and tracks etc. Also as a hobby I'm pretty alright at photoshop and 3d Design so I could help out there too.

lol @ StepDub hah. I don't think forum is necessary since its not a forum its a youtube channel. I dig DubCulture since it makes sense since this is essentially dubstep culture talking on forums and learning and listening dubstep.

I also kinda like Dubsteppers. Incorporating that somehow since we are like actively participating in that it kinda make us all dubsteppers so "The Dubsteppers" or something using that word could be cool. Idk just an idea!

Since the page will be featuring both tutorials as well as tracks (probs divided into two different playlists cause organization will be key to keeping this looking and feeling professional and relevant) We should try to make it seem like its not just like UKF part two or whatever but the name should suggest that its also a place to go to watch tutorials even maybe ask questions etc you know?

Steppers is pretty tight its kinda ambiguous in a cool way. And yeah it definitely does take a ton a time especially when a lot of people have the username and password. It can be tough to really keep it organized.

ChadDub, maybe consider only handing the password and username out to a few "Moderators" so that it isn't quite as sloppy you know? I'd be more than happy to help moderate and contribute some time to helping out at the channel.

I'm liking EDMProductions and Steppers. I have to say I think EDMProductions would be better from a business standpoint because it's easy to make a quick and simple recognizable logo because you can abbreviate it with that rather than Steppers, but I don't care too much about that.

Steppers is more interesting though. People are going to see "Steppers" and be like "Who are these people" It raises questions with ambiguity and uncertainty. Already without even showing them anything we've gotten their attention. Even if its a bit harder to make a logo etc for Steppers the name is so good that the combination of the logo will be a kill shot for sure. A little extra time put in for a real knockout you know? Just my two cents.

Try and have it fuelled by people in different time zones, so while people sleep in the uk, the channel has still got activity during our night time, could possibly give the edge on the 'competition' so to speak

I'd like to be involved with the uploading music side, iv a lot of free time at college etc to find new tunes and promote guys on here. for a name how about BassCultureglobal or something like that, i dunno really.
