how do you make vocals sound demonic in a way, first example i can think of is this tune sort of like pitched down but not... :)

I think it's all about subtlety. Subtle distortion/bitcrushing and ringmodulation. He also automates everything (especially the wet/dry signal) and pitches up and down.

yeah, try pitching down, maybe vocoder, distortion. in ableton there's a thing called resonator, which i slapped onto a vocal-sample to good effects. just try different things and experiment :)

Sounds like the vocals are coming across multiple tracks, with the effects stated above. In certain sections in the beginning, it sounds like a vocoder .... But instead of the traditional vocoder effect (Carrier being the vocals, modulator being a synth) it sounds like the vocals are modulating a bass sound of some sort. So you get that deep tone.
