I'm rocking a macbook w/ PadKontrol - DAW is Logic Express and I'm running Native Instruments - Massive and Absynth....
Padkontrol + Massive = beast of a live performance
Massive = ridiculous deepness

padkontrol for basslines and one-finger leads.... its all the rage in crunkonia
activate the panel
I'm a drummer I don't need 88 keys to express my ideas

I've been looking into drum controllers. I did a lot of reading about the Korg Padkntrol, Akai MPD16, Akai MPD24, and the Triggerfinger.
My choice is the Akai MPD24:
I decided for this over the Padkontrol because of quite a few bad reports on the Korg's build quality. I travel a lot and I'm rough on my gear.
I also prefer to have faders than a kaos pad... but thats personal preference.
I should have the MPD24 in about 2 weeks...
