bold indeed, but not without precedent... rob fitzpatrick's review of the debut album in word magazine was probably the first to make the MA connect (and my boy rob would probably want 'daydreaming' played at his wake), while Q came with "the dubstep answer to blue lines" in their 2006 top 100 albums list. elsewhere, other reviews were ripe with references to tricky and the rest of the left-country millieu... anyway, the past is another country...

burial uses the teardrop break in one of the tracks on the debut as well.
