I understand that everyone's hungry to get the latest in their cars, ipods and phones, but let's not get crazy with these instant links that have been going on in the last few days.
It's critical that the big radio stations see how large the audience is for dubstep, and when "essential mix" links get posted literally 5 hours after a major show or mix, it's not helping out the scene at all. please click listen again, and show your support.
cool?

if you want more dubstep at better slot times on the beeb and kiss then this is real important. an example is that someone like plastician could get a weekly show on the beeb, if the listener streams got larger and more consistant.

Thanks Seckle been stressing this a couple times myself which is why Barefiles only archives Kiss mixes a week after the show was broadcast. All past shows are still to be uploaded but I'm slowly getting there.

If someone can give me the URL I can include a method where BBC still get the hit for someone clicking the file when they download from GotDarker

Isn't that a solution right there ?
Obviously ur only guna click it once to download it, hence 1 hit each D/L..
.. but that's better than no hit.

And with the amount of russian and israeli bots spamming the download links, it will sure grow rapidly
Until I ban them of course

Fair enough I completely agree with you about this.
But something like the Skream Essential mix is going to be posted on several other websites anyway (there's that person who has the blog) so I think it's unfair to criticise people over that.
But yeah otherwise your true. people shouls listen on the radio players:D

just out of curiosity... do they give equal consideration to the number of live listeners and the 'listen again'.. listeners? not that it would change the way i feel about this policy... much love n' support for the radio 1 crew
