Downloading!

Sorry for being late to this thread but has anyone mentioned that Moody Boyz remix of Amy Winehouse's 'Love's A Losing Game'?

Bloody excellent, that is, and a proper tear jerker.

More obvious ones would be...

Burial - Etched Headplate / Archangel
Pinch - Get Up (the vocal version is amazing but the instrumental has the bigger emo factor when the strings kick in.)
Boxcutter - Bad You Do
TRG - Broken (Martyn Remix)
Darkstar - I Need You

...but I'm certain they've all been mentioned here.
Hit that long lunar note and let it float ...

A few I like; the majority of Burial's production could be in this list.

agreed^^^this one too: Horsepower - Gorgon Sound
have to agree. surprised you didn't mention archangel. a buddy of mine recently referred to that track as a "lament." i think he's spot on.

also (this is kind of a stretch) that reso track "once the drugs are gone" with that chic's soft, high pitched vocals. maybe it's because of the context in which i first heard it, but it's nice to listen to in that way as well.

kerogen - tomorrow (seriously youtube...do it now!)

& burial - in mcdonalds....at the v. end of the track, there's a well soft vocal, "you look different". didn't hear it the first 30+ times i listened to the album end-to-end, but that one line absolutely twisted me, and does every time.
