STUDIO - Minimal Techno Mix

Post by 4linehaiku » Tue Jul 24, 2007 12:09 pm

Recorded about 9am at an afterparty that became a mini-rave after deciding my neighbours had probably all gone to work so we could turn the tunes up. Went on for longer but there were a few really horrible mixes right after the Cosmic Sandwich tune, so I just cut the rest of it off and pasted the end of that tune on.
Mixing is a little tweaky in parts but there's no actual trainwrecks and the tunes are great. I promise.

Tracklist
Thomas Melchior & Luciano - Father [Cadenza]
Pantha Du Prince - Moonstruck [Dial]
Efdemin - Lohn & Brot [Liebe Detail]
Martin Buttrich - Full Clip [Planet E]
Pier Bucci - Hey Consuelo (Samim Remix) [Crosstown Rebels]
The Martinez Brothers - My Rendition [Objektivity]
Kenneth Graham - Love Dialed In [Visage]
Len Faki - Rainbow Delta [Osgut Ton]
Stephan Bodzin - Bedford [Spiel-Zeug]
Ricardo Villalobos - 808 the Bassqueen (Queen of Bass Mix) [Lo-Fi Stereo]
Oxia - Domino [Kompakt Extra]
Ambivilant - R U OK? [M_nus]
Cosmic Sandwich - Cosmic Sandwich (Dominik Eulberg Remix) [Traum]

It is the perfect tune for that time of the night/morning. Really reminds everyone how ruined they are! That Cosmic Sandwich tune afterwards is pretty crazy too. A few people had to sit down for that one.

we had such an amazing moment at a night we put on as a result of this tune... it'd been all dub, roots, reggae, dubstep, pushing the energy up and up, getting busier in this grimey little basement, then my mate took to the decks, we switched the lighting and he dropped this straight out, and it went from

and the crowd was like :baby:

Cheers for the comments, glad people are feeling it. Over 200 downloads too, which seems pretty good to me, given this forum has nothing to do with techno.
I'm playing at a house party at the end of the month, so I'll try and record that one, get a sequel on the go.
