a little too 'hands in the air' for me.... ; )

his stuff has been hit or miss for me since his first lp.

'the persistence of memory' was probably the last thing from him that i thought was really really good.

HC is like the dnb equivalent of stanton warriors. Just stick a simple dnb pattern over a popular song to play in his sets, like warriors do with breakbeat a lot of the time. His remixes are quite uninspiring personally but I still rate him as an artist and his original productions are real good. High Society is a good album.

he just kicks out cheesy poppy drum and bass
his stuff is often tacky but it's in a shameless way
i like most of his tracks there just party tunes.

The dubstep remix is alot better IMO. High contrast is FAR too predictable.

not a big fan myself

I enjoyed return of forever when it dropped for about 5 minutes...

I really didn't like what he did with renegade snares...

2003 essential mix = sickest thing ever.

2007 essential mix = deeply average.

High Contrast has made some amazing tracks. Some of his remixes of pop songs have been a bit 'cheesy', but they still get everyone jumpin about. His remixing of DnB is class though, Firefox and 4tree - warning remix was DIRT.
Papua New Guinea is class.
If anyone was going to touch Renegade Snares it was him.
Racing Green signified a certain Hospital time for DnB where that was the sound, but it was still good. Basement track is heavy.
Basically, i like High Contrast.
