Announcement......... From Protocol X

Post by protocolx » Sun Sep 07, 2008 6:51 am

So. . I have been very quiet for the last year maybe even 2.
there is various reasons for this..
im not going into full detail why there has been a lack of beatz but im going to give some of my views on it.....
like most producers i want my music to be enjoyed. im not bothered about making cash, i just want people to dance and be inspired by the music i have made. Just like i have done with tracks i listened to when i was younger.
I would like to say that im going to stop making music as Protocol X for a while.
maybe not forever but for the time being. im still going to be making music. dubstep even. but im going to switch things around.

When i started to get tracks heard and played, things where so different.
i was hearing music that really made me want to make music. Search and Destroy stuff,Elemental and Toasty etc ... Now im still inspired to make dubstep but its a totally different sound......

Id like to thank Caspa (Quiet Storm) for taking an interest in the first place. Giving me advice and putting my tracks out. the guy has passion for music most people could never have. he has worked really hard to achieve what he has!
also all the supporters from day 1. dubway. prior , lohan. Grand. deapoh. Rogue Star. Dman, HOD. Shy. Oris Jay, Reso, boomnoise. pdomino. etc etc

maybe you'll hear something from me in the future...

peace . ..

Ryan

This is a sad time, and i hope some people read this and understand where he is coming from.

I only hope its for the short term, and people....DUBSTEP WASN"T ALL ABOUT WOBBLERS!! it was breaky, driven, tearout music long before the current saturation of the market. It was never break step it was dubstep

Very sad news. Your tunes were always heavyweight mate. Always in the bag. Too bad a lot of them will prob never see the light of day... :(
Respect. And spot on Rogue Star, very true what you're saying!

goodluck. youve put some really good tunes out there. The way I see it is alot of the top producers started making big wobble tunes and then lots of younger producers looking up to the top guys followed this trend.

where is this coming from? i don't understand.
i was hearing music that really made me want to make music
if this is no longer the case then even more reason to carry on mate- dubstep needs originality now more than ever.
