~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Over the summer we've been hard at work giving Eclectric at Love Bar a much-needed overhaul, and we're so excited to show you the results. Think new lights, smoke and all the rest of it, not to mention a much-needed 4 kilowatts of extra soundsystem which will literally shake the ceiling to the ground (the room aint big). To top it off, we've massively upped the ante with our DJ bookings. Put it this way: Eclectric is coming back with a bang.
For our first night back we've decided to push the boat out a little with a headliner who's been at the forefront of the dubstep/techno crossover since it was ever suggested. Appleblim is co-head of the Skull Disco label (championed by Villalobos and just about every dubstep/techno fanatic out there) and his own Apple Pips imprint, and plays regularly at seminal London dubstep night FWD. The dancefloor at Love Bar will never before have witnessed such a frankly absurd amount of bass. With a 4AM license and our brand new soundsystem this is going to be an absolutely sick night. Arrive early or buy advance tickets to avoid disappointment (ticket link up soon).
Eclectric presents: APPLEBLIM
+ TJ Hertz, Ed Steele and Rich Smith (playing techno, minimal, dubstep and other treats)
Baby Love Bar (King Edward St, off the High Street)
Supposedly they have had a big refurbish with a new 4k rig
wether or not they have the ability to make the most of this is yet to be seen
Yeah sounds like standard post-refurbishment chatter to me, I will reserve my judgement though of course :arrow:
