Calamity Flange
Smokelife DJs and more...

Lab (formerly Arc bar) Broad Street. 9pm-3am

Jazzsteppa
Originating from Tel Aviv, this Berlin/London ensemble, leaders of the live dubstep basswave, mix live instruments; drums, trombones and effects with heavy beats, citing influences of ska, dub and jazz, and are masters of the heaving dancefloor. www.jazzsteppa.co.uk

Forsaken & Ben Blackmore (live)
Top Bristol dubstep producer Forsaken joins forces with gifted guitarist Ben Blackmore resulting in a hauntingly hypnotic new sound. Acclaimed by Mary Anne Hobbs and Giles Peterson this will be their first live appearance airing exciting new material. www.myspace.com/forsakendubstep and www.myspace.com/benjblackmore

The Mighty Peas
We start the party with this acoustic trio who “add the rumble of a bass fiddle” (a double bass to you and me) to create fun and lively ska and swing covers of our favourite party tunes. www.myspace.com/themightypeas

Ironside B2B Alkemy B2B Noisy Boy
The wrongest three-way to make Bristol blush! These notorious Bristol Djs come together to provide us with a spectrum of ragga, jungle, dubstep, drum and bass and all things wrongcore. More fun than your granny's Ohmibod.

Ewan Hoozami – Funk From The Trunk to get the party started
Calamity Flange – Breaks things, and also spins old skool tunage.
Obs – (Housewives) Mr obscene himself playing all things beefy.
Smiffy B2B Golgot – (Smokelife) A dandified duet of dubstep and techno.

More tbc.

Yeah, Arc Bar had just closed down when I first moved to Bristol, very intrigued by the freaky glass front business going on :)

Yup! :) Last time they were in town was for a Bristol Festival fundraiser at the croft last May and it was absolutely sick!!

Lab is looking stunning too. I'd totally forgotten how mad the decor in there was... its like a crystal maze set! They've added to it with quality graff, ceiling suspended DJ desks and full funktion1 soundsystems. Its run by one of the lads that used to run Clockwork.

:D
