ok, so im helping a friend set up his studio and he just bought a firewire m-audio project mix.
how do i get it to "collaborate" with logic ? haven't used any external controllers with logic as yet so im a little confused any suggestions would be helpful !

1 - Install the drivers that come with it, or download them from M-Audio's site.
2 - Logic won't snyc with Project Mix if the computer is already on. You must always boot up the PMI/0 first, while holding down the middle (#3 Aux button) --its directly under the A/B button on the top right side --
THEN turn your computer. It will display "Project Mix in Logic Mode" your computer will "See it" and it will work perfectly.
To review:
1 turn it off.
2 Hold the Aux 3 Button on the PMI/0 and switch it on.
3 Turn the Computer on.
