8. Refract festival, Belgrade
Mighty Vibes & Beat Busters proudly presents you another free release. Tobogan is amazing live improvisational dub, psydub, dubstep, jungle, drum & bass... band from Zagreb, Croatia. Built from one of the best young Croatian musicians & producers they explore the realms of electronic dance music played with band and instruments. Their shows are almost completely improvised so every show is unique and special.
They bring us complete show improvised and recorded in Belgrade at 8. Refract festival, held on 6.6.2009. in KC "Grad" club.
On the first part they start with chilled out psychedelic dub grooves, then heading on to more dubstep variations slowly revealing the amazing virtuosity of the bands drummer. The breakbeat & funky up-tempoing ends with the jungle & drum and bass grooves announcing the second part.
The second part instantly starts with the reminiscence of the more than famous Amen break heading into atmospheric jungle grooves and a drum and bass adventure. The band slowly progress to a more harder drum & bass, jungle sounds acompaniying one of the best Serbian MC's Chakka on the mic, but keeping the liquid component all the way... When the MC said "Release the gravitation! We're moving the party to the roof!!" band plays the last groove and leaves the stage, leaving the people filled with joy and a great live electronics expirience.
