Just because Rob Sparxx says he doesnt like FuntCase doesnt mean u all have to jump on his dick. I like FuntCase, Doctor P and other filthy dubstep and if you dont then fair enough but Rob having a go at them and basically whining at them because at the moment in time they are higher on some chart than he is is just sad to be honest. If u dont like something then fine, but you dont have to bitch about it on the internet so that you can have aload of sheep backing you up is just fuckin sad.

Would it hurt their sales if they learnt some more individual production techniques and turned down the "cringe factor" a bit? Or is it that overload of cheese that makes those tunes so popular?

i wouldnt say this (ie- funtcase) style is my first choice by a long shot; but when i do like tracks along these lines its because of the 'cringe factor'...

Jump up:
1.) it's listenable.
2.) most of those producers have made other stuff then just their normal.
3.) they don't sound like eachother.
4.) they've been in the game before "brostep" was even around.

Brostep:
1.) it's the equivalent of punching yourself in the ears (NOT in a good way.)
2.) all of those 'producers' sound the same.
3.) all of their tunes sound the same.
4.) it sucks dick.
