a tune im working on sorta hit a brick wall now let me know good points bad points etcdsf
edit: @amphibian real calming tune, nice spacey trippy synths you got on it haha gives it a real e.t flying over the moon on a bicycle feel![]()
, ive never really made chill songs so im shooting blanks here but id switch it up sometime near the middle as it gets a tad repetitive.

@billycrystal nice use of formant filter?? i like the groove to the track.. it sits well and ur foundation is solid... the low end gets muddy at the break... loved that drop tho
dried this one out and brought the kit down in the mix..

Grime Syndicate wrote:I did make that. At 1:08 is where the heavily phased and wobbled foreground bass exits and there is a high pitched sorta sweep wobble that serves as a transition into the ethereal bit which comes back for a moment. (I think this is what you're referring to.) Yes, I made that sweepy bit in Albino from Rob Papen. I love that synth. I made everything really. The ethereal bit is the combination of a few different things, one of which is a pad patch I didn't do much to. If it ain't broke, don't fix it I figure. Everything else though, was either from scratch or a heavily altered patch. But thank you. I'll take your comments as saying I'm on the right path. I've only been producing for around 3 months, but I feel like I've made some really decent progress. Thanks for the feedback.

Good mix, I liked it. Only thing I'd suggest is maybe adjusting the kick EQ just a hair, making it cut through a little better during the really bass heavy parts.
This is my first track i've posted here, so heres a little background...
21 years old from Hartford,CT,USA. Been producing with logic for about 7 months now, here's a recent one...I'm playing around with the bass as we speak.
