I love Zomby threads. They're the best soap operas around. He has done some pretty cool music but boy he sounds like a naughty little child. I'm sure he loves it. Regardless I can't understand why he would not show to play a support for Animal Collective who are pretty damn big right now?
Animal Collective make fantastic records by the way. I haven't seen them live but from what I've heard they aren't as mind blowing as they could be.
Panda Bear's "Person Pitch" album was probably the best album released this decade.

I heard he no-showed for 3 or 4 gigs in Holland - one of them he got in a strop and fucked off after he'd been paid but b4 he'd played because a promoter from a previous night he'd no-showed at was there asking him why he never showed up!
bla bla this isnt the place for that tbh.. those guys had issues between themselves and they fucked up id split too if i was standing in zomby's shoes
also.. flying with a stomach infection? i detect a bit of dedication over here... id stay at home big time

Shoulda come through to Glasgow 2 years back when AC were due to play. Two of them didn't show 'cause they had the flu so Panda Bear ended up playing all of Person Pitch live. :O

Yeah I heard about that.
I'm pretty slack as far as going to Glasgow for gigs actually.
I want to come through for Hank Williams III in September but probably won't as Jesu is playing a few nights later here so I don't want to blow a heap of cash too early in the month.
I can't even remember my last Glasgow gig???? I think it was Saul Williams or Ministry???
I really wish more folk came to Edinburgh.

He must work under the pretense that negi hype is hype whatever way you look at it.
He is a bit of a clown though. I'd never pay money to go to one of his gigs.

better yet lets find out where he lives and bumrape him
who does he think he is not going to a gig just because he has a serious stomach infection and had to be physically removed from the plane?
i would have stabbed any nurse that tried to stop me travelling for my own safety, don't these interfering medical busy bodies not realise that there's someone over in the US who'll be inconvenienced gravely by this no show as they went to see him specifically as they don't like the main band that is playing?
call president obama, i see a diplomatic crisis brewing!!

aaah a classic case of the boy who cried wolf.
whether or not he actually is ill this time is pretty irrelevant, if it hadn't been for his countless other no-shows people would have no reason to doubt would they
