Re: Heny G Album?
I feel like i've already heard this album before, couple cuts from previous mixes I've heard before (Mary Anne Hobbs: Heny G and Jay 5ive Mix springs to mind), but the tunes are just as fresh as ever. Glad this finally dropped. Love The Heny G Sound

Re: Mix File Hosting
I just use mixcloud with a link in the description to a Mediafire download link. Kind of a pain to use 2 different services, but mixcloud gives the opportunity for easy listening and Mediafire is always fast and easy for downloads

Re: Scared about learning to DJ.
Back on topic, DJing is just like learning to ride a bike (to some degree). It's not too hard, and once you get the hang of it, you can do some really cool stuff. It just takes practice. Dont fret over having a bunch of controls you dont understand when you first start out. Just think back to how yo...

Thread sucks.
GF loves burial though. She also loves Top 40 music so she must just be an anomaly.

Re: Legally recognize Westboro Baptist Church as a hate grou
It's funny that people get so fired up about these people. They don't actually do anything, they just act hateful so that they can make some money in settlements when people fly off the handle and attack them. I dont understand why people can't just laugh at them and go on with their day, it's not l...

Other than the singles that came out before the album, it's pretty shit overall i think. Nothing great compared to his first album which is pretty loaded with hot tunes

I love the history on Skeng, such a huge tune. Shocked to find out that it was pretty much just a freestyle in the studio

Re: Dayton - Advice (deep and dark)
You really want to work on not having too much going on in the same frequencies: less is usually better and gives more impact in this type of track. The drum track is pretty stale and the bassline doesn't really do the track any justice, its doing too much and not strong enough to make a big impact....

Re: Instrumentalist - This Is The Thanks I Get ft. Lady Soul
I really enjoy this track. You should try make the synth in the backround that plays around 2:45 a little bit louder, and maybe give the bassline a bit more beef

Re: GeNRL - Nine 0 (Dark/shuffly)
Nice vibes on this one, it's a great tune. if anything, try to give the bongo line a bit more space so you can hear it better, or just pull up the levels on it.

Re: Illusive - Supersaurus (Dubstep) [Similar to SevenLions]
You might want to look at turning down the main melodic synth, it never really gives you a break and it tires out quickly, just change up teh dynamics a bit more, maybe filter it out at different times.

Re: Inmate - Level Up (Banger Dubstep)
This is really tense, it sounds like it's constantly building up through the song but never really hits. You might want to include a section where you go from the bass hits to more of a bass drone (if that makes any sense at all). I really like it though, interesting stuff

Re: The Sky is Falling - The Nibelheim Incident
I think you're onto something big with the that hollow-sounding bass that hits after the first initial bass sound, the filtering really makes it come through as something awesome

Re: SCALP - All We Do VIP [Heavy]
On the all we do vip, it sounds pretty good. If anything, you should pull back the main bass part so it doesn't dominate the drums so much. Other than that, its a pretty great tune

Re: Workin' on a dubstep-track. Feedback?
Well the idea of the song is good (i think, not really my style), but the mixing is pretty poor. You have too many sounds way too loud and they're killing each other for space. Take some time and pull down the levels on basically everything, and see how it sounds then. You dont have to make everythi...
