I'm just looking at tips for gearing music towards animation or film. I'm also looking for animators to create cartoons or films in respect to my music. I think it's important to allow this kind of interaction. I'm not really looking for music videos but rather a collaboration. I'd also be intereste...

Re: ableton compresser
Way back when, a studio engineer told me how to understand compression. He said set a heavy ratio that you would never use first and take the Threshold all the way down. Then adjust the attack and release to hear what those controls do. It helped me hugely compression wise. At first it's not exactly...

Most under rated artist on DSF
Basically, name the most under rated who should be super stars.
Me first:
Hurling Dervish - Chaosis brought my attention to him and he kills it every time. If I had a proper label I'd sign him yesterday.
Nylle - Just awesome.

Re: The most ridiculous comments regarding music production
Dubstep is shit now anyways, full of fangirl posers and 15 year old children. What's wrong with 15 year olds? Were you that creepy lonely kid who took his cousin to year 11 prom? No. My cousin wasn't at the same school as me so I went alone. You can't understand dubstep if you're under 18. How the ...

I wonder why people stop posting on this pile of shit.
Waste man. Haven't seen a thread that has challenged me in any way in about a year. Apart from maybe some of basic's stuff.
