this is how i make Skrillex styled bass with fm8 and i show you how to reprocess it a couple ways. Its pretty close i feel

its fm. draw your wav form in the box on the right and you can edit the phase in the one next to it. the rest is like all rob papen synths

try a self oscillating sine wav.sounds basicly like a sub bass with some resonance.
