Re: El-B/Ghost Kick/Snare
The kick sounds like a bassy / club kick that has been lowpassed and eq'd to taste. Try that with any club style kick and I'm sure you will get pretty close. Look for samples with a lot of bass body to start with.

Re: The 'help me make that dungeon sound' thread
dungeon bass + eq + distortion + eq + reverb + eq as for the bass, I usually keep it simple and probably need to experiment more but definitely square wave almost always for me or a blend like 70% square, 30% saw. Try detuning some of the oscillators and play with some of the built in massive fx par...

Hello all.
Mesck is a badman and I understand his production value is extremely high but I was wondering about the highly resonant bassline in this tune.. the really thick moving one.
Soundcloud
Any thoughts?

Re: The Reason Q&A Thread
I like to cut away at sounds with an EQ until I have something light to work with, then I do a scream 4... and eq again to the same effect. I keep doing this process until my bass sounds PHAT AS PHUCK. it takes a lot of time and tweaking but the results can be glorious!

Re: The Reaper Q&A Thread
Hey, does anyone know if there's a way to copy audio files without also copying the automation points? Every time I copy and paste something on an track with automation it turns into a mess of points that take so long to get rid of. What I do is copy patches.. then paste patches into fresh units wi...
