Re: Ill gates racks
I'm glad that you are excited about what I taught you, and about the racks I hooked you up with. I really thought your class was amazing but it was so much information that it feels like i've forgotten some of it already. I would love to take that course again just to try and absorb all that info o...

Re: Bassline variation
Hesitation is the worst thing you can do.
Don't hesitate to try anything new or go crazy, do whatever you can and whatever feels right at the time. Nothing will sound wrong at this point.

This mix pushes the outer limits of sick bass. In my opinion this is the new substandard on dubstep. Fantastic track selections

Exporting sounds recorded with a VST using Ableton
Hey everyone, I've used Massive VST to record a little midi clip inside of Ableton. This part is all good, when I play my song my little midi clip plays along with it. What I would like to do is be able to export this little midi clip to my library as a sound clip, like a wav file or other format so...

Re: More OOOOOMMMFFF out of that KICK
So I have some 808 kick drums samples in my library
But are you other dubsteppers adding anything to the kick to just give it that extra, prolonged OOMF?

More OOOOOMMMFFF out of that KICK
I'm having some trouble making a deeper, longer, more prolonged kick... Basically I want to make a kick thats like ooooommmff!!!! So i'm trying to make it like a quarter bar or 1/8 bar long but can't seem to get it to drag out. I'm using Ableton, if that matters... Is there a combo of layered kicks ...
