If you can't work out what key an acapella is in.... You prob should work on some 'real' music as practice first, otherwise you'll probably end up making atonal crap. IMO... Once you've trained your ear a little, figuring out the key using a piano will take you a matter of seconds.

I tried doing this a couple of times but everytime I re-opened the project file the delay time changed to a non-zero value I think, pain the arse.

Nah this happens when bouncing and playing. I managed to fix it in this particular project today by finding that one particular audio track that was routed to the bus was causing the entire bus to delay. Even when that audio track had all plug ins disabled (which were native plug ins anwyway). Weird...

Anyone else had trouble with Logic creating latency on busses? This is happening even if those busses don't have any plug-ins on them! Only happens occasionally but is totally fucking annoying. Arghhhhhhhhhhhh. Please tell me someone has noticed this and figured out how to fix it.
