Re: That extra 10Hz of bass on monitors...worth paying doubl
i could even play a 10hz note and hear it. No you can't... the lowest frequence you can hear ist about 20hz. When you play a 10hz note the only thing you could hear are air noises caused by the bassreflex port of your speakers. Usually the numbers given in the frequence response are the f3 points. ...

Re: matt-u 'empty inside'
Try this: Start with a sinewave, distortion and a lowpassfilter. Don't push the distortion to hard... just a bit till you get some movement when you play around with the cutoff. Raise the resonance (like 50%) and ad a multiband distortion unit and distort the mids pretty hard. Ad a cabinet simulator...

Re: In need of a new filter.
Even though it's limited, the resonace sounds extremely good... i love tbk. But if I didn't have TBK and Bifilter already, I'd buy Fabfilter Micron: Simple, cheap and awesome sound.nowaysj wrote:Naw, does sound good, but I do find the resonance too limited.

Re: custom single cycle waveforms and alchemy
... put them into the correct folder. Are you shure? Actually i do this the same way and it works without any problems. If you're on mac the correct folder is: Library/Application Support/Camel Audio/Alchemy/Libraries/WaveOsc Drag your waveformfolder in there and you should be able to find them und...

The sonalksis tbk1 is awesome! Best sounding VST filter in my opinion... sounds clean as fuck and got a lovely resonance. Sugar bytes WOW is also great... i really like it's overdrive sound and it's formant filtering. The Fabfilter stuff is great as well (simplon is a massive filter for it's money)....
