Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER

Anyone think a shared tuna dropbox would be good idea? You could put your tracks for the week and stems/project files if you were up for a remix

Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER

Hrmm... Well i dont want to see this die :/ I know i'm not the most regular contributor but i have my reasons! Namely that the internet in South America is shit and i have been staying in such dodgy hostels and campsites that I've been a little worried to get my laptop out. Will try and comment more...

Re: Music theory - Multiple keys in a song

I think exploring the idea of a key change would be more effectively done throughout an EP over the course of several tracks. Most classical music is much longer than a dubstep track, and so it gives the composer a lot more time to develop ideas which is why I think key changes are much more common...

Re: Tips and tricks for getting a pirates feel on a song?

i really thought this would be about a burial song :/ In retrospect, there was this thread a few years ago, this guy was trying to sell his massive presets. He was exceedingly foolish, and when posters finally pressed him to post a screenshot of a preset, it was massive with nothing done to it at al...

Re: Music theory - Multiple keys in a song

That video is pretty spot on. If you write an intro in Cm you can pretty easily transition into Gm ( the 5th) for the drop. Chord changes outside of the circle of 5ths have less potential to sound cheesy but are harder to work in. Writing your bassline in the relative major can be interesting too. J...

Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER

@Demain: ever blessed> nice one, liking the general idea, i wasn't sure about the combo between the drum machine-like snare and the "real" drums line at first but it grew on me. i wish you'd break the beat like you do at the end earlier tho, i feel it gets a bit samey after a while and co...

Not too different to deciding which chick is worth taking home at the end of a night out imo. Or better yet, hiring chicks to do porn. Or prostitutes, if you're into it. Yeah cos if porn and pimps do it then it must be cool :W: You'd have to revise a lot to get that far. And while I don't discourag...

The blueprints to successful resourced-based, sustainable, green and self-providing communities are there; and they're not developed in a 'going backwards' fashion, they're there for a purpose of growth and exploration. Communities, not societies. There are too many people in the world for this to ...

Re: Reasons why a UKIP vote is a good vote

Bradford is pretty fucked up, I have a few asian mates from there and they say similar things. I dont envy anyone that lives there... That issue is obviously a lot more complicated than ukip would have us believe though, and actually has very little to do with modern immigration. I remember learning...

Psch: I must admit i've not heard the original, but this is pretty cool, i like the bongo line and rhythm of the kicks and the bass are nice, sets a real nice groove. That snap is a little loud though as noways was saying. i really like that panned element you have coming in every now and then, what...

Re: Uneven loops?

I know this is old but did you try rendering the melody as an audio file, exporting it into the playliist and then changing the bpm so that the melody fits into 4 bars. That is usually my problem if i cant get a melody to loop right
