Re: 808 Kick making a click sound
on an unrelated but sort of related note, when you throw in a drum hit on Ableton's audio track, the auto fade may lessen the punch/attack. took me awhile to figure that out lol.

Re: Attn AKG K240 users. Need feedback.
I've tried swapping cords with other AKG headphones. Same issue. The problem is probably the inner cables. Thanks for the reply.
U should get the K240 if that's what u're eyeing. It's a good pair of headphones. My issue is probably just a case of bad luck.

Attn AKG K240 users. Need feedback.
My AKG K240s that I got from Amazon just about a year ago is having what they call a grounding problem which the shop may or may not be able to repair. If it's the latter, I need some opinions. Do I: a) Get another same one off Ebay (are older model of k240 better than the new one? anyone experience...

Re: The Juke/Footwork Production Thread
140 Juke sounds good. I'm sure you've listened to Addison Groove's stuff. 140 or 150 or 160 are just general guideline though. one has to feel the tempo and adjust accordingly
Also, sometimes a track produced in slower tempo can 'feel' faster if you shuffle the rhythm.

Re: Getting into some 2-step..
try sampling a portion of hihats from breaks but without timestretching the breaks to match the tempo of your song. that'll give you some natural slightly offbeat swing.
