Re: Are we allowed to talk about anything else?

Mujhadeen dont know any better, they have been brought up to believe that their people are being persecuted and they must wage holy war on the west! This is unfair as alot of them dont know any better. The people you wanna blame and be angry agaisnt are those in charge.

Re: How Drug Culture Has Influenced Dubstep

Definetly Man, I think the reason i started to like dubstep so much in 05/06 was cos it was about the time i started smoking, puts you in a deeper, more philosophical mindset that brostep just isnt suited too.

Re: If there is no subbass then it is not dubstep?

I dont think people would hate it on as much if it didnt sound so out there and was sort of more listenable and not pushing the extremes of bass synthesis and also if it wasnt such a one trick pony. what was great before was that you had deep subby tunes but you also had wobblers, like i remeber lov...

Re: How Drug Culture Has Influenced Dubstep

Its true man!! I seen it happen at subdub/exodus used to be abit of a deeper vibe people were still on pills but not on racous shit, but then cos the crowds mindset changed (not mine im happy with the green gold) the vibe changed and people wanted to jump up and down like gheys and it wont even abou...

How Drug Culture Has Influenced Dubstep

Ill keep this short and sweet, back in the day the majority of the crowd, (at least to the nights I was going to) were smoking weed and just sippin Red Stripe, then came Ketamine and later Mkat. This meant that the crowd wanted a more aggressive jump up type music to listen to, Rather than the ganja...

Re: If there is no subbass then it is not dubstep?

There's no originality with bro-step tho, every song follows the same format and has the same style of bassline...And it just sounds a little wack....
Bro-step is a one trick pony.
Dubstep is Master of All.

Re: If there is no subbass then it is not dubstep?

I dont get it tho, IDM is not that popular cos it sounds pretty out there, brostep is kinda takin shit to the extreme but people love it, IDM is alot more listenable to than brostep as well...I just dont understand how a genre that has sounds akin to a serious death metal band/bunch of powertools ha...
