Re: have analog synth access, any sample requests?

LP and JX8P should be quite worthy of sampling. and i honestly wouldn't mind some drums from that HR16. 80s digital drums ftw.

actually, please sample that HR16!

shouldn't be too hard - 49 samples in total.

http://bedroomproducersblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/delta_modulator-300x139.jpg this wasn't an official released or anything, but i think it's even more awesome this way. there's this thread on KVR about emulating the sound of Nintendo (NES) game console's sampling channel using delta modula...

Re: Thinking out loud...

related to the first part of the thread (regarding cassette tapes and how they affect the sound) - have any of you guys tried making impulse responses of your gear? the IRs won't capture any changes to the dynamics, but will (if done right) capture the frequency response, and thats exactly what i l...

Re: some free lo-fi samples by me

yeah i hear you about Kontakt, the thing is i only got Kontakt 5 and can't make patches for older versions unfortunately. but at least there's Shortcircuit 1 patches, they're pretty much the same as K5 ones.

btw, which old logo, the one from the Yamaha DD-8 pack? :)

some free lo-fi samples by me

i've been releasing some free sample packs in the past couple of months. mostly cheap and lo-fi gear, but perhaps someone will find use for these. first off, there's Commodore 64 Synthesizer sessions: http://bedroomproducersblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/cover.png two more of these coming soon....

a tad bit pricey that VIP GoldenChain, but damn does it sound good before the Sumo!

Re: Best Analog/Tape Emulating Plugins

np, i used to go for FerricTDS all the time, but TB ReelBus is bloody awesome since it doesn't just emulate the "good stuff". i tried to tweak it to match my tape recorder and got very close (if not spot-on). of course, 90% people will want to use it for the hi-end tape machine sort of thi...

Re: Nobody Move(new tune,deep dubstep)

nice track, nice vibe. perhaps the only thing i'd look into is the rimshot/snare - it gets quite repetitive after a while. maybe a bit of reverb send automation and/or layering could help.
