Re: Finished Tunes For Feedback - Nov/Dec 2011

@Darj - I could tell from your waveform this would be cool. That aside I think your drums could do with a little more variation, maybe 4 bar patterns instead of 2? to keep it interesting as it sounds very loopy. The rest of the song is amazing though, love your reece noises and those haunting synths...

Re: How To Make This Sound - December 2011

Since I am not the most musically inclined person I would like to know how I would go about best simulating that classic horror style string rising sound that gets used in a lot of movies and trailers nowadays. Here is an example of what I am talking about http://audiojungle.net/item/intense-str .....

Re: Girlfriends

Not getting laid enough is the best thing that could happen for my producing IE I have way too much free time, seems so hard for me to meet women that I am actually interested in beyond looks, as well as a general disinterest in relationships.... But my basslines get fatter and fatter in between faps.

Re: Making white noise sweeps NOT suck1? :(

im all about white noise - band pass filter - delay/reverb maybe some flanger in there as well, seems to work well for me and as was said earlier I usually dont let it stand out too much its mostly a transitional aid in the background.

Re: Uncomfortable blasting your own music?

Lol its all about confidence, if you play your own tunes in a set you learn pretty fast what your doing wrong when its side by side with another "professional" track. Play your tunes who gives a fuck, and it feels so good when someone likes it or your hear it at your friends house or whate...

Re: Luthor - Here & There

Personally not a big fan of garage, but this at least doesn't sound like shit. good vibes and tight production for sure. I would like to hear it push the envelope on variation a bit more instead of havign a break and repeating another 16 bars of the same thing, but that's probably what you were goin...

Re: Junkie Feat. Gabriel Lionarons - There is Hope.

Nice mix, however I think its really repetitive. some more drum and bass variation would be really nice, even if its something like just making a 4 or 8 bar pattern that loops instead of two as far as the drums go. Right now it sounds really stagnant, and although its well produced I got kind of bor...

Re: Feedback for Feedback

Im just going to be honest as possible cus that is the best way to improve, I think your drums sound too loopy, its just kick snare with 16th note hats at one sample, and it sounds bad nor does it create a good groove or rythm. I think your mix sounds pretty good and the build is certainly exciting ...

Re: my first dubstep tune FEED4FEED

I think what needs to be said has already been said, musically I like what is gonig on, rythmically I do not and in a lot of dubstep I would argue that rythm is more important due to the nature of the genre. as Reign said, playing with how the drums and bass interact is key to creating a good groove...

Re: Reign - Stolen Goods [100BPM Instrumental Edit]

fuck yeah! I almost don't wanna hear it with vocals... 100bpm has some cool energy to it for sure. nice growly bass in there as well.
