Was thinking about getting it so I could get some ideas down when I'm at work or travelling.
I'm not expecting to be able to make full tracks on it, but would I be able to export midi files and then use them in logic or ableton?
Does anyone on here use it?

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
@ficticious Liked the intro, chords/pads and vocal sample work week, created nice atmosphere. I liked the bouncy drum pattern, not sure if I was keen on the drums samples used, I mean they sound ok but I thought as the drum pattern was quite different and experimental, some different sounding drums ...

Re: How to automate effects in Logic.
Cheers, I knew how to do that, I'm just having problems finding how to select an effect to automate rather than the volume etc.
Do you basically have to do it using the touch function. Just alter the delay time or whatever while you're recording and then go back in an edit it after?

How to automate effects in Logic.
Questions pretty much in the title. I know how to automate vst's etc but not sure how to automate delays, reverb etc. I usually use ableton and it's easy but been using logic for a change and it's annoying me.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
@lloydy, Really feeling the vibe on both your tunes. I was kind of hoping for a change in the drums after the first breakdown, but overall it was really cool. @antman, drums and vocal got a bit repetitive but bass sounded nice and clear. going in the right direction... evilmoonmouse...I think I see ...

Re: How important do you think it is to stay in key?
As previous posts say, there's no rules to music so just do what sounds good to you.
Some old garage and drum and bass stuff would often be a little out of tune but sometimes it added to the feel of it.

Re: Drum programming
I use the piano roll in Logic and the use the humanise function. If I use ableton I tend to stick to using audio.

@cubicle - Real nice, chilled out and mellow. Enjoyed listening to it a lot @cabre - Again, I enjoyed listening to both tracks, really liked the chords on Rain through hollow lenses. Was loving drop the fass too, just found it getting a bit repetitive and wanted it to switch up a bit. Over all good ...

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
BassDNB - I really liked the melody and the synth you used sounded nice, real nice use of space on the track, kind of had me feel like I was floating away In the clouds haha. Sub sounded really loud on my speakers though, maybe bring it down a notch and perhaps use a clap with the snare to bring it ...
