some feedback: @cyclopian: really liked this one, you should mess with melodies more often :P the sound design and mixdown are just the right amount of grittiness. not too fond of the trappy hi-hats tho :P it could also have more of a sense of progression,like introduce a new element after the break...

ja, something like that; not necessarily vinyl crackles, but layering some ambient background noise, also maybe reverb on some of the drum hits so the reverb tail could fill that background "ambiance" purpose i feel you could have more melodic content tho, maybe not another full-on synth, ...
