For somthing like a bass, no, I've never used a preset for that. But for things like bads, or like a backing synth- like most have said, why not use it? I definatly mess around with them to make them slightly different from the original, but theres nothin wrong with using them imo

Get a blu ray grade cleaner disc from your local Wal-Mart or w/e you guys have up north... put that through it a few times, see if the eye was dirty... my numarks used to do that, becuase we would constantly drop the cdjs in dirt and cig ashes n shit... always fixed it up... is it real skip sensiti...
