Is it just me or does the 12" sound a bit crap? My styli are probably a little battered atm but the mids/highs sound really harsh and maybe even a little distorted compared to most tunes.

No but I also have a copy of the clear vinyl version of The beginning and its exactly the same. Ive sent an email off to chemical requesting they check a copy for me but I havent had a reply yet.

Its not the first time Ive been let down by their represses either and tbh Ive had enough.
