Re: None Dubstep release in here

I just released a new EP a few days ago. It's free if you want it but if you feel it's worth anything then by all means go for it. You can stream it from my soundcloud here: https://soundcloud.com/twisted-psykie/sets/distance-ep-free-download or download it here: http://twistedpsykie.bandcamp.com/al...

Re: What is wrong with shit?

I don't really post comments that often either. Maybe that's why I only have like 130 followers. I also never promote myself. So there's that. Honestly I haven't noticed anything different with soundcloud. It seems business as usual. People on there are either producers themselves trying to get thei...

Re: The Hendrix, Pink Floyd of our generation?

I don't think this is really a question that can be answered. You would really have to break it down by genre. What you would need to do is probably find the most genre defining artists of today but even then the influence they have will probably be allocated to a very specific type of music. By gen...

Not sure if anyone mentioned Hemlock Grove yet. If you want something that is good that will probably make you super uncomfortable at some points, it's a pretty great show.

Re: How to make beat like this?

It's actually a super simple beat for the most part. He adds some flourishes and stuff to make it more interesting but the core of the beat is very simple. 128 BPM http://i58.tinypic.com/10nf29i.jpg You should really consider doing what Legendary suggested though. It's quite simple to recreate a bea...

Re: Peek Inside the Home of Skyrim's First Serial Killer (NS

Even as a video game it still is a bit disturbing. I also had the same response though. It did make me laugh. I think it's more due to the absurdity of it though. It's just a game but the intent of it is a bit shocking. I've played a ton of games. I've probably murdered millions of people in games m...

Re: The things that pissed you off today ™ thread

Honestly even nice people can have negative and sometimes hateful opinions like this. I guess the question is do these opinions effect the way he treats these people as he seems to be in a position to have a negative impact on a person belonging to the ethnicities he seems to dislike. Like for insta...

Re: The things that pissed you off today ™ thread

Lately everything is pissing me off. But what really pisses me off, not just today, but everyday, is people. No specific person, just people in general. I'm pretty sure a therapist would have a field day with me. But working in customer service I've learned that people are the worst thing ever. This...

I'd like to see wub just submit something to the Tuna. I think that alone would make up for being in a sub forum.

Would you guys mind if I threw up one a little late? I've been working so much it was hard to get stuff finished. Hopefully these ridiculous work hours will slow down soon. Assuming my manager will hire some more damn people.

Re: Re-evaluating my production methods/habits

thanks m8. yeah, i don't have any problem with FG or 130 (i listen to lots of 130), but if i were to start making it, that would feel phony to me, cause thats not what i really want to make (i mean i might make the odd song here or there but that's another story). but if that's what you or anyone e...

Re: Is signing to small labels worth it?

are you comfortable with putting your music out there for people to buy? would you pay for your own tunes? would you spend £40 to cut them? if the answer is no to any of these questions, don't sign anything with anybody and keep working on your music until all the boxes check. whats that got to do ...

Re: Re-evaluating my production methods/habits

I'm probably not one to talk as I tend to make a lot of that future garage/post dubstep type stuff. So I guess I've jumped on the bandwagon. But it's something that I like to make. It's a style that I don't struggle to get my ideas out with. It's comfortable. And I think that's a very important thin...

Re: trap vocal shout

I must be way out of the loop. Don't listen to a lot of trap but are you looking for something that says "Trap" or are you just looking for interesting vocal samples shouting random things? If the latter is the case then really you can find them just about anywhere. If you have a mic and a...

Re: Doing a faster dubstep drop?

It sounds like you're not having a problem with fast or slow, but instead getting your sounds to work together to form a cohesive sound. You've obviously managed to get the desired speed in your music before, you just disliked how everything else sounded in conjunction with that speed. Unfortunately...

Re: Beats by Dre...for A/Bing playback?

Have Beats headphones come down in price? Last time I looked at them they were like 200 dollars, and that was for the cheap ones. There's like 10 different versions and the highest "quality" ones, supposedly based on price anyway, are like 500. I don't know about anyone else but that's a g...
