Re: Spine tinglers
Hell yeah, DJ Shadow and DJ Krush are amazing. Love that shit. I like some liquid DnB sometimes, gets my spine tinglin' espcecially when there are other variables involved. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7QYjTM-2_4 And I liked this one a lot until I found the above one: http://www.youtube.com/watch...

Re: what is your next project or goal?
1) Become very confident with FL and know most of the ins and outs.
2) Produce at least one decent song by the end of summer (decent as in sounds good for a beginner)
3) After 2 I hope to, consequently, produce more and better songs and pick up djing and not just producing.

Re: A Complete Beginner
Alright, thanks for both of your opinions. I'll get to reading the manual in the next week. Finals for school right now. And my hopeful plan for the next year is to use FL for about a year and then when I graduate about this time next year to get a Mac and start using Logic. Hopefully by then I will...

Re: A Complete Beginner
Sorry to do a slight hijack... but do you think reading the manual for FL is as important? Just curious because I have not done so, purely trial and error/ tutorials.

Re: Processing Power
Wow, that does indeed look like a steal. I just inherited my girlfriend's old dell that has only 1gb of RAM and FL 9 runs pretty smoothly. Massive, however, does take about 30 seconds to open. Can't wait for my graduation next year... I want a MacBook Pro so damn badly. Really though, in my unprofes...

Reese Bass?
I understand only vaguely how to create this sound. I know this is probably one of the most simple things to ask but I searched and couldn't find a tutorial, or at least one that I could understand. I'm still learning the jargon. If someone could show me the way to a layman's tutorial or explain it ...

Re: lurkers, please post
I've been lurking for a couple weeks. My first attempts at producing have also been in the last month, so I don't really have anything to contribute. I've been using Fl 9 with the help of Massive a lot. I haven't posted on this forum because you guys make it pretty damn clear to hit the "search...
