For the money these are excellent monitors but as you say if your room is 3 steps in width the MR8s will be very over powered for such a small space.

Why does anyone actually use curves? For me there has never been a situation where I've been automating a parameter and thought that the straight line isn't doing it for me. Just seems like a gimmick, I do understand you can get a different effects by using a curve but MEH.

That's a shame, they have made some class tracks, talented and versatile producers too. Their more aggressive "bro" sound was pretty new at the time, at least for me so I have a soft spot in that sense.
