I like "brostep", but come on, that's just a horrible sound, no offence. I don't understand everyone's obsession with it.

Re: using basslines in audio question
You could sample a few LFO speeds, or alternatively you can just get one and cut it up & timestretch it to different speeds. It can create pretty interesting sounds. Usually when I give the bass a pretty fast LFO like 1/16 it kinda ruins the sound... can't explain it but the bass just loses its ...

Re: skrillex style synth in Ableton?
I've made some pretty awesome sounds using Massive and dBlue Glitch. Just make a really wide typical saw sound in Massive and then just mangle it up. Works wonders. It really doesn't sound like a raw sound straight out of Massive but I'm sure if you mess around with it you'll get something similar. ...

Re: how do you make a dirty sick wobble bass
Just experiment, it's easier to make your own original cool sound rather than copying others. It's not worth trying to copy other artists' sounds as tempting as it may be. I know this from experience.

Re: Hydraulic sounds
Yup they're not always synthesised, and it's not one sound either. Get a robotic sound and pitch shift it, time stretch, give it some chorus etc. Then you cut up small segments of that and mix it in with some other sounds to create a little melody out of all your sounds. If you do try and synthesise...

Saw waves with bandpass modulated slowly to get the "wow" sound with lots of distortion, reverb, chorus etc. That's my guess.

Re: syncronizing samples
You can do it in FL studio and most DAWs i assume. In FL you can select various timestrech options such as "tonal" and then just drag the sample to whatever size you want without the pitch being affected.
