Re: All The Things In The Fridge 160bpm Madness
Updated a bit, more filtering on the vocals and a few other bits chucked into the mix.
Does anyone think this needs some low-mid? It sounds good how it is on a decent system but half the track disappears on small speakers.

Re: All The Things In The Fridge 160bpm Madness
Thanks for your ears/feedback. I'll have another play with the vocals when I mix it properly but I kind of like that the repetition is slightly maddening - I dropped it at a rave a few weeks back and in the morning people were repeating some of the phrases over and over. Fun fucking with people's he...

Re: toot! - O (Subby lush out)
Thanks for your reply.
I'd be interested to know how this translates onto a system, finally got some decent monitors but in a shitty room so bass is still hard to judge.

toot! - O (Subby lush out)
Yo, haven't been on here for ages.
Got some new speakers today and made this floaty, bassy thing. Feedback appreciated.

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- OCTOBER 2010
Toot/ some lush melodies here but the intro gets dull and reptitive. it rolls along too much needs a bit of glitch. The mixx down needs some serious work. There are frequencies crashing everywhere, it makes it sound a big mess. You can sort alot of this out by leveling the samples out volume wise. ...

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- OCTOBER 2010
@toot-- thanks-for-the-pen-naomi-v2, intro is too long. Like the atmosphere in this one, though some parts could use some more articulation. Mix is kind of strange, especially at the end, though it does bring some tension. I really agree with you on the mix side of things. Any advice? I've been ask...

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- OCTOBER 2010
@ trike12 Really nice, spacious mix. Good sounds and nice strong bass. The transitions are smooth. The only thing I'd like more of is variation/melody...when the bass comes in heavy the last time around I really want there to be something else going on to keep my interest. @hutyluty Tekamine: Good ...

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- OCTOBER 2010
@hutyluty @finji @Tau37 Cheers for the feedback, glad you guys like it. Wasn't sure if anyone would be into the vibe. @magnetron, sputtering Very cool stuff, hypnotic and well mixed. Interesting change at 2mins. Thought the messy part near the end was unnecessary and it could've been a bit shorter/...

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- OCTOBER 2010
@Grace Very nice chords, like the vibe in general but the drums, especially the snare sound rather 'general midi'. Some better drum samples would help the tune out. The intro is a bit too long repetitive too. Again, the general vibe is good. @jaydot Sorry, didn't like this much at all. Found the so...

Re: WORKS IN PROGRESS FOR AUGUST, 2010
@JemGrover Hmmm...the general vibe is nice but there wasn't enough going to keep me interested. Some more melody, or maybe just fragmented bits of melody coming in and out would do a lot to keep the interest and flow going. @Holda Haha, I like this, it's quite cheeky. Work on the bass sounds a bit ...

Re: tune battles, name-calling, and waste posts...
3.5 is a massive pet hate of mine, especially when it comes to the feedback threads *hangs head in shame* I really should learn to just ignore people that don't read the rules and hope everyone else does the same. Yeah, I've not been here long but it's a pain seeing those very useful and productive...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JULY, 2010
@Fonnovo Liking the vibe of this. Like you say, it could do with a little more variation and I think the bass drum is getting a little lost, maybe try scooping out a lil' bit of the bass line? @RightOnTime27 Some nice sound design here but everything sounded a little bit too much 'to the grid' for ...

Seriously, thanks!!!

@Phigure Cheers man, I really must get round to making a version of this with some nice synth sounds and banging drums.
Looks a bit clearer after some Photoshopping:
