People always ask what I do in my spare time.
When I say I produce they ask 'oh so you mix songs?'
It's a pain in the ass to always explain it.

Pitched down vocals
Hi guys. Been wondering how to perfect this. I'm talking about pitched down vocals that sound amazingly deep. Whenever I pitch them down with a pitchshifter OR adding them in a sampler I get a really weak pitched down voice. Does this have something to do with heavy EQ in the lower freq's or am I mi...

Re: Narrowing your sub bass range ...imaging methods?
1) I do both. I mono my kick and sub in the mix. After my mix is done I go through a mild master and use the Brainworx Control to make everything mono under 110Hz. (Don't ask me why it's 110, it's a habit, I rarely go higher than that) 2) Not really sure what you mean but if you mean actually freq s...

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
@ Antman; Ye the intro definitely needs some more love. The kick seems a bit weak aswel. Could use a tad more lowend tho. Other than that, pretty deep vibes man! @ Chainsaw Police; Intro is nice, fits the vibe aswel. The 'drop' isn't what I expected tho. Your keeping things nice and interesting. On...

Re: List Of Members Collaboration // Collabs Thread
What DAW do you use? Logic but I have Reason 6.5 aswel tho I don't use it anymore. How long have you been producing for? Approx. 2 years I guess, bit less. What VSTs do you favour? Not sure if I should be ashamed or not but I use Massive for almost all my sounds. If I'm not using Massive than I'm u...

I work at my parents company, we deliver beer and drinks to restaurants and bars.
It's fucking heavy and I'm sure my back is gone when I'm 50. Kegs weigh 70kgs and I have to drag them off the truck into the basement.

Re: How To Make This Sound - January 2013
Hey guys, anyone have a clue how to make the synth that comes in at 1:01.
I'm getting close but I can't get that natural feel to it, mine just sounds like a poor attempt with some saws.
Thanks!

Re: Korg Poly 800 Problems
That's what I have too. I'd strongly recommend this page: http://www.synthzone.com/korg.htm for all kinds of resources... and the Korg Forum . OK, so IF this is not a mechanical issue (caused by some kind of deterioration/damage) then yes, a reprog is in order. That's relatively easy , involves pla...

Korg Poly 800 Problems
I have a Korg Poly-800 and today I decided to write a track with it. Hooooooowever, once I turned the volume on I got this hum, even when playing notes. Some low sub like frequencies with a small white noise. Changed patches and it all stayed the same sound. I looked around on the internet and it se...

1. What is your production set up? (hardware and software) iMac 27" 3.4GHz. M-Audio Axiom25 and a Korg Poly-800. Auralex foampads underneath my KRK Rokit 5's (been using these since my Behringer's stopped working). Logic Pro 9 and Reason 6.5 (legit) All my current plugins are not legit except ...

I don't know really, I think all my points are equal. If I have to choose than it will most likely be keeping things interesting and adding the right emotion/atmosphere to a track.

I'm not an electrician but sure sounds like something is 'kaput' and causing the whole system to shut off as some kind of emergency.
