Re: Logic closing my file
go to the Window menu and select Arrange - or use the shortcut Command + 1. This will open a new arrange window as normal. In Logic, it's possible to have a project open without actually having a visible window on screen. Command 1 should bring back your arrangement. Ye, I googled my question first...

Logic closing my file
So I got this file going on and I pressed somekind of keycommand where a new screen popped up (the keyboard piano shit and something else that I don't know) I couldn't find how to close it so I just shut down Logic instead. Now when I reopen logic it loads and loads my file and once it's done loadin...

Re: Midi Keyboard problem
Very odd. Is the pitch bend stuck? Any transpose settings on the keyboard? Nope, It's really strange. I play a C1 and Logic reads it as a C#1 and I have no clue why. I know why... You're using one of the M-Audio keyboard, right? I believe if you hold down both the up and down octave buttons it make...

Midi Keyboard problem
Hey guys, I just noticed a quite annoying flaw in my Axiom 25. When I play C1 on the keyboard (or C2 or C3) it shows up in Logic as C#1. Even when I press record and I obviously press C1 it draws a C#1. What caused this and does anyone know how to fix it? I've looked all through my MIDI settings on ...

Re: inharmonic bass sounds?
That DMZ tune is purely Reason, sounds a lot like the Stagga synth but without the modulation.
It's done inside Subtractor.
I found this tutorial so you could maybe get a bit closer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31ws6_Rnu90

Re: DUPLOC Bass: Chorus/phaser/flanger/delay-modulated midra
These sounds are all done on reasons maelstrom. On osc 1 use whatever wave you like then set mod A as 2/4 LFO on the filter and shift or pitch. Then on Mod B use a 1/4 LFO or 1/8 or 1/8t and pull the volume on Mod B all the way down or all the way up. Set the filter to comb - or comb + and mess aro...

Honestly, to me it sounds like a random pluck tho.
Squares - Amp Envelope with short attack and a fast decay. Sustain all the way down.

Re: Swoop Wobble?
Do you mean the intro growl synth?
It's just a lowpassed osc (choose to your own taste) with a slow LFO opening up to it.
I think I have an exact copy of that laying around here, if you're really curious and can't find it I'll have a look.

Re: What is layering?
Everyone was new at some point and production is fucking huge, man. It's daunting. I jumped into the deep and started making tunes, because I had no idea how daunting that shit was. But to a newby, i could understand why they'd want some guidance in the beginning. If this is about production and ke...

Re: What is layering?
Snare on 1, clap on 1.
Simple as that.
2 samples 'layered' on top (in time or if you want, a little bit offtime) of eachother.

Re: How To Make This Sound - January 2013
Hey guys, anyone have a clue how to make the synth that comes in at 1:01. I'm getting close but I can't get that natural feel to it, mine just sounds like a poor attempt with some saws. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=RhDFtgTrd88 Thanks! A couple things that stand out to ...
