Well obviously if you are just fixed one individual sample then your technique would be marginally quicker.
My technique is epic for fixing large amounts of samples, click, record, click, record, etc etc.

Don't use side-chaining. Chuck in a bit more reverb and you'll find that more than sufficient for this genre.

Erm.. it's a lot easier. Minimal software use required. Most of the technique is hardware based. Once it's all plugged in then you don't need to unplug it again, do you?

Sick tune but the tempo is way too high. I recommend lowering it about 10-15 points.

I find the best solution to fixing drum samples (although not the quickest) is to re-record them.

Simply plug in your microphone and a pair of cheap headphones.

Play the sample through the headphones and record using the microphone (obvious, sorry).
(Note: If you have problems with interference or ...
