I'm not sure which version of Massive fixes this problem, but yes you have found one of the biggest flaws with the VST. You CANNOT automate the synced rate in Massive - the earlier versions that is.

i think he means he wants to change the LFO rate whilst keeping it synced. so for example, it will wuub wuub wuub wuub at 1/8 for 2 bars, then swithc up to wubwubwubwubbing at 1/16 for 2 bars after that.

i dont use massive anymore, but i remember this used to be a problem people spoke on here ...

welcome!! there should be a little 'sync' button right below the rate knob.. click it and the rate will then be displayed in fractions!

Edit: Maybe i read you're question wrong! I wouldn't know how to find it within ableton sorry! but i would recommend not syncing the lfo and just use your ear ...
