Re: pre delay plugin?

If you are looking for a clean repeat... Some DAWs like Cubase have a sample offset feature on the track that will allow you to shift the audio file forward in time without having to duplicate the audio to manually shift it. You will have to adjust your wet mix though to get the actual delay's repea...

Re: Switching DAW's

I switched to Cubase and Protools when Apple bought Logic. For me, even though I didn't want to switch, it wound up being one of the best moves I had made. I now use Cubase 5 and Nuendo 5. Re: I need help isolating vocals from a song

It all really depends on what you want for end result. Any kind of process like this is going to sacrifice the sound of the vocal anyway....

Re: Crack ....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1VLaXoRRdk TUUUUUNNNEEE... Loads of people like this. I got no idea why. I think it's awful I kinda agree too. The importance, depending on how you view other artists or even if you care, is why is this so liked? Is it the voice, repetition, hook, textures, etc.

Re: I need help isolating vocals from a song

Hmm. Not sure what editor you use, but Voxengo has plugin called msed. You can use this plugin to drop the sides out of the mix that has the vocals in it. This is mid-side processing. If you drop the sides out, you should have a fairly clear vocal since vocals are usually pretty center in a mix. The...
