Re: Earbud recommendations
Isn't generalizing that you're cooler than someone else for no real reason like a fashion cigarette most of the reason people legitimately hate Skull Candy?Recessive Trait wrote:isn't skullcandy for 14 year old girls?

Re: Earbud recommendations
(MDR)Xb40EX's and Xb20EX's, both of the extra bass models, I just broke the 20's in about two months, the 40's lasted a lot longer and were actually pretty decent, but they cost 90 bucks next to 60.weedcali wrote:Which Sonys did you have?

Re: Earbud recommendations
Skull candy, seriously, I had a pair of ink'ds that lasted twice as long as the sonys I just broke and sounded twice as good. Maybe it was just a bad pair of sonys, but from that experience i would definitely take SK just because they're super cheap and they last a super long time. They always have ...

Because it,s compelling as fuck and I figure if I stay into it for long enough i'll be able to make something I'm proud of.

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- OCTOBER 2010
@ Zebrakid ... I'm kinda thinking "what did I just listen to :S?" It's very odd, but I do like it in a weird kind of way. Some nice big lush pad sounds. I can't help but wonder if this is a collage of accidents that just happened to come out sounding really good or if it was deliberately ...

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- OCTOBER 2010
@narrator- TBH I don,t think there's enough hell in there for the sample, that's about it... the drums sound really good, the main bit is just kind of flat to me though, it isn't bad... but it wasn't one of those "oh my god sex in my ear" tracks either. @hypothes- nice track, for this one ...

Re: The 'help me make this sound!' thread
I hate to even ask how to make another persons sounds, but I was wondering if anyone had any insight into how shekel makes his central sounds? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjSwOdgev-A Like right at the drop, 1:10 I think.. being pretty new to all of this I'm just completely lost with those kind of...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for SEPTEMBER, 2010
LTUK- I like the track, it has a very individual kind of feel but at the same time I feel like I've heard it before, a little bit more distinction couldn't hurt as far as I'm concerned. Other than that I would say some of the central sounds could be more intense/louder, so they stand out a bit. mash...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for SEPTEMBER, 2010
@ Zebrakid. Mmm unsure what you're trying to achieve here. Hats sound quite cool. Definitely needs alot of work. Do a bit more work and post back Planning on it, to be honest I shouldn't even be posting here, I've been producing for... two days now :D I was going for the feeling of those cheesy por...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for SEPTEMBER, 2010
sorry for posting twice so close to each other, but i fixed up my track a bit and deleted the other one, so here it is again up for criticism. @the bender - really nice start to a filthy song but i felt liek the bass needed to be louder and especially on the initial drop. the synth itself is great ...

http://soundcloud.com/joseph-knows/yell-1 ^ apologies for the annoying bursts of noise.. its due to using a demo version of albino. :( http://soundcloud.com/joseph-knows/remainderreminder a.p - definately has foundations for something good.
