Re: The DJ Bible [V1.0]
I like this idea cause I have very little knowledge of DJ'ing and producing but I am going to start DJ'ing when I get too frustrated at producing so its almost like I'm killing 2 birds with 1 stone, but anyways. Looking forward to this being completed. Also I appreciate the work that will go into ...

Well if you put your life into this game, it would make sense to advertise it properly. You need to realize what has already been said. Shitty advertising gets companies no results, proper advertising gets their products out and makes them millions. It can work the same way in a day to day basis. I ...

Now your just getting desperate for someone to listen to your mix. Maybe if you posted it in the right section people would listen to it. But I'm not listening to it, I'll go listen to the neighbor kid hit things with a stick.

Isn't there a saying.....Like "first impressions are the ones that last?" Or something around that area.

Re: Anyone got an MPK?
I had an MPK49 but I use Logic and it worked with no problems. But the drum pads on it suck a fat dick, even after taking it apart and trying to clear some of the clearance from the pad to the sensor, they still sucked.....So I sold it.

Proper spelling and grammar is a virtue. Either your weed is mixed with like some fuckin PCP, or your straight up retarded. Also wrong section.

Re: The Los Angeles Recording School
I also went to the Conservatory in AZ. They don't teach you anything there about producing your own music, or theory, or songwriting or anything of those sorts. There focus is engineering ONLY, as in recording other artists, post production audio, video game audio, and live sound.

Re: Hang Drum - Anyone got any samples?
Hopefully I'm on the same track as all you. But Dante Bucci, I believe plays a hang drum.....I've bought his album off iTunes forever ago, and have tried sampling it. But I'm completely terrible at sampling. I will try again soon though cause I would love them for myself. Anyone have any tips/advice ...

I think that once you click on the Production, Hardware & Technical sub forum, there should be a huge fucking gigantic page that has ONLY the stickies on it, in huge red font, then at the bottom of the page a tiny little button that says continue to no spam/dumb fucking questions that are answered ...

Learn what your doing before you buy massive amounts of equipment. Having the best equipment in the world isn't going to make awesome music alone. You need experience, which is practice.

Just bounce them all into stems and send em that way....Or even bounce each track down, name it proper and then go from there, instead of trying to send a whole Logic file.

Having 8GB of RAM really improved the speed and running flow of.....Everything.
But the only differences between Express and Studio, is with Studio you get more synths included, maybe some plugs but I'm not sure on that. 99.9% positive that Express doesn't come with the ES2 though. (which is such a ...

I have last years 13" MBP, and I upgraded the RAM to 8GB and its FUCKING AWESOME!!! I would get the RAM if I was you, or get a bigger HD, cause do you really need a nice shiny screen when your not working with anything but chunks of audio n what have you? Or use that money to buy a keyboard and ...

Re: Logic Pro Hyper Editor
To load the hyper editor set into another project?
I do save the current project, open another and goto import project settings, back to old project and look for it and it won't let me re-import into the new session.

Logic Pro Hyper Editor
So I recently started messing around with hyper editor to start programming drums...Seems much easier to get the drums sounding the way I like using hyper editor instead of ultrabeat. But my question is, is there an easier way to create your own drum kit within hyper editor?

I have a pair of these. I really like them. Never had any problems, there a good set of cans for the price. Even though if you wanna spend like an extra $50-100 you can get a far better pair.

Re: How Did You Get Started?
Yeah I just need to practice more, maybe just try to make as many songs as possible regardless of if its shitty or not, I think I'm trying to hold too high of standards for my first song I'll ever make, its like I want it to be a golden song. But I need to hop that fence and realize my first songs ...

Re: How Did You Get Started?
Kinda like me, I have been trying to produce on and off for a few months. I haven't accomplished anything besides the intro to like 3 songs, then I am at a loss of where to take it next. But like today, I've screwed about in Massive for 5 hours, didn't get anything accomplished, but I think I ...

Re: just starting in logic
When I was in school for audio engineering they gave us the introduction to Logic Pro book which is really helpful, and I bought the 2nd one when I finished the first. Those books help so much, it doesn't tell you how to make sounds, rather it tells you what things do and why an so forth.
