Re: Looking for some dubstep appropriate sound effects...

synthesize some
they're not that hard to make

I've considered that, but, I'd imagine I'd have a lot of learning to do, because I don't know the first thing about synthesizing my own effects... I am unsure if I even have the correct tools to do it.

i'll send you a PM :D

Thank so much again ...

Looking for some dubstep appropriate sound effects...

I'm really big on using sound effects (i.e. sweeps, impacts, reverse crashes) to help end measures, transitions, and add more atmospheric content to a track. Although I tweak the samples, I can't help but feel that I may be reusing a lot of them. It also doesn't help that I'm using Vengeance Club ...

Re: FLStudio & the 3xOsc

wasp xt always feels rather limited to me now since ive used massive...which is probably a bad thing
however, i will still always use it for sub bass as it doesnt munch that much CPU.
but seriously, if you want a good synth, use sytrus, i havnt learnt my way around it properly but its a serious bit ...

Re: FLStudio & the 3xOsc

Yeah the 3osc is a nice little beast you definitely should milk that one out a lot and I would also pick up that wasp and waspxt. And start using them again too they can be quite handy as well

When I first learned how to make wobbles with the Wasp XT, it was thanks to some presets I downloaded ...

Re: FLStudio & the 3xOsc

Any FLStudio users here that still use the 3xOsc instead of Massive? I actually have Massive but haven't learned how to make dubstep basses with it yet. The 3xOsc seems to be pretty decent for what it is; it offers a more vintage wobble, sometimes even comparable to a bassline out of grime. I still ...

Drum samples & mixing...

Hey there everybody, my name is Gary. This is my first post so I figured it would be a good idea to introduce myself first before getting too involved with the community, haha. So, hey guys! :t:

I've been producing dubstep on FLStudio 9 for about a year and a half now but I'm not that good yet. I ...
