Re: Whoisthis - Digital Chants [Deep/Darker]
The track sounds pretty nice - not too many issues with the mix. I like the long build in the beginning. I guess my only slightly negative feedback would be that the track doesn't really "stand" out in the maze of extremely similar sounding work put out from a lot of experimenting producer...

Re: Burial - Kindred
Does Loner have the "There is something out there" sample or is that track fake?

Some feedback would be cool. I'll check out your work as all. I already know there is a little too much reverb - I'll have to work with that.

Need Advice on Drum Line (Will Give Feedback)
Hey, I made this track a while back. I love the track but something sounds a little weird @ 1:15 when the chorus drums come in. I was thinking possibly that they were a little too panned. I haven't been making music for a while so I was hoping on getting some advice and figuring out a good approach ...

Re: PanLeft - Electrika
"Elecktra" - Love the beginning, especially the atmospheric wind like sounds! The drop is very nice as well. Loving the percussion. "Up On The Underground" - Really nice sound. The EQing is right on. The beginning was awesome - loved the silent lead in. I also love the 2562 like ...

Re: Gamora - Ambient Dubstep (Female producer) from NYC
The sequencing in this tune is amazing, especially considering you haven't been making music for long. Have you checked out The Moneyshot Thread ? If not, you should. It helps to understand mixing and mastering a lot better! One key tip for me was to turn everything else down rather than turning so...

Hey thanks! I get you on the reverb - I definitely can get a little reverb crazy sometimes. I'll check out your track and comment.amphibian wrote:generally nice, but I found the excess reverb a bit too... excessive.

Re: Gamora - Ambient Dubstep (Female producer) from NYC
nice percussion grooves. intro was quite an uneasy sorta feeling (in a good way) then when it all comes together fits well. you keep everything interesting through with sounds constantly evolving and changing which is a big thumbs up in my books for this type of dubstep! i do agree with the poster ...

Re: Gamora - Ambient Dubstep (Female producer) from NYC
this is really nice- love the dissonance and that. Only thing is really, I'm guessing it hasnt been eqed? This might be purposeful but I think you want to ,look at chopping off a lot of the highs on the samples youve used to stop the treble sounding so tinny yeah not heard much that sounds like thi...

Re: Gamora
Hey thanks a lot! And yeah I’m having some trouble with mastering - sounds different on my computer than it sounds on others, etc. The first track is really great - nice build and the drop was insane! Nice job! The second was dope too. Loved the eerie chords in the middle. Here's another if you want...

Shell of Light Burial Samples
Does anyone know the female vocals in "Shell of Light?" The woman is singing "Love you so" - Who is she!? Her voice is so beautiful.
