Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!

@skerrick - really abstract type of sound here. i like it though, theres so much going on it gives you the feel of high energy but yet its still kinda chill. nice man. @axxessdenied - nice touch with the guitar sounds man. i've been thinkin of doing something like this. heavily resampling guitars fo...

They're not mastering issues, they're mixdown issues. Mastering won't help, if anything it'll just make it worse.

Re: Kill the noise-ish dubstep

the drum filtering in the beginning seemed a bit strong to me, and the drop sounds alot thinner than the build.

Jimbeaux - Ergot (datsik/excision/melodic style)

A tune I did about a year ago. Tried incorporating some emotion in the builds with combining alot of sub-genre elements. Hope you guys enjoy, any feedback is greatly appreciated. I know the mix is rough, an it's not mastered at all. :u:

Re: The Reese Bass Thread

bounce the long note with the opening filter motion, frequency split, send the mids to an aux channel with the guitar distortion, balance everything. I think that there's a really low d/w slow phaser and a bit of additive eqing on the mid-highs to put emphasis on the growling pitchbend sound thing....

http://soundcloud.com/mishva/pacifism-iron013-out-19-10-12 got a few (three  ) people asking questions about this one used two different massive digital distorted saw wavetables with a really slow LFO on the wt position to get some moviment going. third oscillator is lunacy + phase distortion ...

some reese basses i made in massive, and a bit of tape saturation... not resampled but i imagine it could get pretty intense.
