Re: Skrillex - Reptile

I'm not sure if you're allowed to post tunes completely unrelated to Dubstep. :/

Re: soundcloud followers.

Same problem as Twitter; people are just following other people in hope they will follow them back. Some followers do check your tunes out on a regular, but most of them don't :/

Re: testing my rooms acoustics ?

As for acoustic treatement, using soft absorbing materials (such as blankets, eggs containers, cushions, sofas all kinds of crap) will absorb the sound and stop it bouncing off walls. You can buy special square foam that sticks to walls and is designed to absorb, diffuse and defract sound. Really b...

Re: why do you produce?

Because just listening to something isn't enough, you got to create it too; life without creating music would be boring.

*Tut Tut* You're both wrong, the key of Am uses the following: A,B,C,D,E,F,G# ^- You won't see the G# because Am is the reletive to C, and C has no sharps/flats, which means the G# is written in accidentals and not writen in the key signiture :) -q- I don't really know what I'm talking about, but i...

Re: I can't believe I've been producing for years without a

You know, as a rule, I would try and keep your sub down, just so it's in the track, clearly audible, but not overpowering, and try and high pass anything which is using low frequencies unecessarily (a spectrum analyzer can help find which instruments are), this will help in the late mixing/mastering...

Re: Prob with DB levels, Any Solutions?

Albino, for a soundwave? Mhmm, that's a bit of a waste. If you're only going to create a sinewave, then use the most basic VST you've got, to save complication. I disagree, Albino has always been really low on CPU for me. The problem is your low pass filter, turn it off!! Just a suggestion! And yes...

Re: testing my rooms acoustics ?

You must place your speakers so that the spot you are sitting in, both speakers are facing each ear, and the tweeter is level with your ear. The distance from your ear should be between 4-5 feet. <-- Treat that as a guide, you'll have to tweak. As for acoustic treatement, using soft absorbing materi...

Re: Prob with DB levels, Any Solutions?

If your sub is changing dB on different notes then it's not a sub. A sub is a sinewave, and when played at different pitches, the frequency it produces changes, this does not change the dB. Have you applied any sort of EQ or inserts to your bass? If you want your sub to sound clean, high pass any ot...

Re: Commentary - [JumpUp Dubstep] Tutorial !

I took my tutorials down because i cant do better then this. I hope you're joking lol :o The reason I made this vid is because I'm sick of people confusing this electronic, noisy music people reffer to as "Dubstep", when in actual fact, it just sounds like rape-music used for interogation...
